The video
The viewer is a set of static files. Once loaded, the page talks to the camera through the browser's USB support and draws the frames on the page. There is no server receiving video; the site has no upload feature at all. Frames exist only in your browser's memory while the page is open.
Captures
On a computer you choose a folder, and photos and clips are written there by your browser. On Android they go to Downloads. The page keeps no copy. If the folder you choose is synced by your own cloud software (iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive), that software may upload the files as it would any other; that is outside this site.
Permissions
- USB device: you pick the camera in the browser's list. The permission is remembered for this site and can be revoked in the browser: Chrome, Settings, Privacy and security, Site settings, USB devices, or the lock icon in the address bar.
- Folder: separate from the USB permission; the browser asks again after a reload. Revoke it the same way, or just choose a different folder.
- The page does not ask for microphone, location, notifications or contacts, and does not use cookies. Your settings (title, stamp, button action) are stored in the browser's local storage for this site only.
What the hosting sees
Loading the site contacts Cloudflare, which serves the files and, like any web host, records standard request logs (IP address, time, pages requested, browser). No analytics script, advertising script or font is loaded from anywhere; every request the page makes goes to this site's own address, and this is checked automatically before each release. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.

Try it
Open the viewer Chrome or Edge on a computer, or Chrome on Android. Nothing is uploaded.
